Remains of a bug drawn to the Crystal Peak for its precious crystal. Its claw-pick now doubles as a fierce weapon.
The bugs of Hallownest lusted after the strangest things in life. They would dig furtively through the dirt for stone, ore and in particular the crystals that grow at the top of the world.
Behaviour and Tactics
Mines listlessly until approached. Upon being disturbed, an orange dot, reminiscent of those seen in the eyes of other Infected husks, can be seen within its eyes, which otherwise would have appeared uninfected.
When hostile it runs feverishly back and forth until the Knight is within its sights. It attacks with a swing of its claw-pick if the Knight is in close range or by throwing it in a parabolic arc if the Knight is farther away.
The claw-picks can be reflected with the Nail and deal 5 damage. The best strategy is to simply avoid the first toss as the claw-pick damage is minimal and kill the Husk Miner before it can prepare another attack.
Dream Nail Dialogue
The Husk Miner can only be found in Crystal Peak.
- Myla, when fully Infected, acts exactly like a Husk Miner and defeating her counts towards the Husk Miner's Journal entry.
